I was thinking about asking some people around the church if the youth (and some adults) would be willing to take a trip to gamers... Gamers is a place over by century theatures where people come together to play games on PC's and Its $14 for a day pass(10 hours) and I think its $5 per hour to play (without Day pass), and I think for some of the youth in our church are big gamers like myself and would like to go for it sometime... although im not sure if its a good idea or not i encourage people to reply on this topic about it and tell me weather its a good idea or not, and next time i get to the church ill ask jesse and some other people about it...
P.S. - dont worry about expressing your true feelings about this im asking people for there thoughts for a reason...

Great idea, Jordan. Hey... did you know we used to have LAN parties at the church? Was wondering if you'd like to help organize one. They played Metal of Honor I think, and I'm not sure, but maybe the game is still on the system. I'm not sure, though.
Yeah, I'd go to GAMERS with you. Not sure I'm a youth. But I'd like to come with.

Great idea. yes, we used to have lan parties here and I think it worked great for those involved. When you are at church again you can look at the computers we have set up. Our son, Jordan, loves gamers and I'm sure he would go. He went to one of the lock-in overnight things back in May and had a great time. Get together with those interested at church and see if you can get something together. Great idea.

Yea i think the systems at the church would work the only problem is... is that i dont think we would have enough games for every one unless I borrowed some from friends of mine over the internet... well if i find out more about gamers and see if they have group rates, I also would like to do somthing of xbox tournaments at the church it would be really cool because I know a few friends who have the same games as i do that wouldn't mind letting me borrow them for a while... but im not sure how the church would feel about halo 2, and splinter cell... but hey if its alright with there parrents it would be fine with me... and dont worry kim we might even get you in free because at gamers, they have a girls night every tuesday, girls get in free... i kinda wish i was a girl some time just because of that lol although im not sure what type of systems you have at the church but i could easly work somthing out...

All you need is one game, just find a crack so you don't need the cd. Also the systems are pretty old so they can't run much.

This is such a good idea Jordan. I agree with you Micah about the the game crack. We did that with Call of Duty. I want to do some thinking about our computer situation at the church. I would soo love to have computers that would be able to run some of the more recent or rather hardware intensive games. I loved playing in the lan parties we had in the past. I want to help as much as I can with the comp issues we have at the church as well as the net we have there.
